Village is very much alert regarding the problem of lowering of ground water by soft drink major PepsiCo . But whether the village is knowing bad effects of withdrawing ground water for agriculture by the village farmers themselves, particularly high water requirement crops like sugar cane and rice? If not , it is high time villagers may consider this aspect also. They should withdraw only that much of water which is replenished by nature/ artificial means and there is no further lowering of ground water level every year.
