About
Ms. Sravanthi Rallabandi is an Urban Planner with over 12 years of diverse experience across built environment sector, including a range of involvements in development plans and master plans. She has also actively worked with executing agencies in implementation of initiatives belonging to various national missions for Urban Development such as National Urban Sanitation Policy (NUSP), Rajeev Awas Yojana (RAY) and National Policy on Urban Street Vendors (NPUSV).Her areas of interest and experience also include climate change vulnerability and adaptation and energy efficiency. She has contributed to various research studies conducted by Asia Pacific Network (APN), World Bank and ADMIRE – program funded by UNEP-DTU in Climate Change Adaptation sector.
Her key competencies lie in land use analysis, population projections, socio - economic analysis, thematic analysis, stakeholder consultations, planning and policies and effective use of GIS. She works on empirical studies involving interaction with local governments, field surveys and community engagement.
Sravanthi holds a Master of Arts degree from Birmingham City University, United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Planning degree from School of Planning and Architecture (now JNAFU), JNTU, Hyderabad.
