About

I am an environmental researcher from India, having a postdoc in Water and Climate change from The Foundation for Medical Research Worli. I have a doctorate in the subject of Biotechnology from Nagpur University, India. I have a research experience of over 10 years wherein I have worked for various scientific-institutional projects and two independent projects. My work finds application in proposing ideal bioremediation strategies for water and soil pollution. I have also worked for the Finnish Environmental Institute; Suomen ympäristökeskus (SYKE) using my  eDNA analysis approaches for understanding the impact of oil pollution on microbiomes of Baltic sea in their ongoing project. I work for various activities of International Waters Association as a young professional. I am also a member of SEDRIC, (Wellcome trust, UK) where I work towards understanding the impact of antibiotic-micropollutants on human health and environment.
