I am a Docent in water resources management at the Department of Sustainable Development, Environmental Science and Engineering, at Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden. I am an academician, author as well as activist in water sector with more than 14 years of experience in research, education and advocacy in the areas of water policy, gender and water, human right to water, climate change and water, integrated water resources management, water quality management, participatory approach in water management, and traditional water management systems. Having authored several international publications, I am also the co-founder of Millennium Water Story (MWS), which is an information, education and communication initiative.Industry experience
