About

Dr Sangita Ladha is M-Tech – Agricultural Engineering from IIT-Kharagpur  and Doctorate in Agricultural Development.  She has been spearheading operations with leading organizations in Irrigation and Water Management and is currently associated with M/s Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd, one of the largest manufacturers of Micro Irrigation systems globally, as the Vice-President for Marketing and Business Development.

 

Her Domain Expertise is Precision farming, Automated Irrigation and Water Management,  Protected cultivation - Green-house Technology, Agri-Value Chain Management and Digital informatics based agro advisory services. She has nearly 30  years of experience in area  of Design, Marketing and Business Development of Micro Irrigation  Systems and in Development and Management of Practical and Innovative Indo-Dutch  Training Centers  for horticulture and in particular for promotion of Green-house Technology in the country.

 

Expertise in Conceptualization, Development,  Marketing and Promotion of  Hi-tech horticulture projects,  advanced and practical training programs and  handling turnkey contracts largely in area of  Greenhouse/Protected Cultivation and in Water conservation-Drip/Sprinkler/landscape irrigation

 

She was formerly Director of Indo-Dutch advanced and practical training centers in hi-tech horticulture, namely  International Horticulture Innovation and Training Centre ( IHITC), Jaipur  and of   Horticulture Training Centre,( HTC) ,Pune Has been instrumental in bagging and execution of innovative projects under USAID and Euro-AID.

 

In a multifaceted career spanning over three decades, has  experience and expertise in Project Management, Strategy & Planning, Knowledge Management, Skill Development, Corporate Affairs, Policy formulation and advocacy. Demonstrated abilities in conceptualization and development of  green-field horticulture projects and successfully leading organizations to flourishing ventures.
