We have real solutions for water saving(70% less water than drip irrigation) and for seasonal and long droughts(2 till 4 years) mitigation. The technologies are: the buried diffuser and the draining floater. In addityion to water saving the buried diffuser allows to irrigate only 1 irrigation per year, itr allows also to inject and store the rain water(during the rainy years) in the deep soil layers to be used by the trees during the long droughts(2 till 4 years). The draining floater allows to "pump" and distribute the dams water, downstream, without any pump, using the gravity (siphon) , for some kilometers till several tens of kilometers.
