The workshop is multi-disciplinary and open-ended platform to bring in ideas and innovations from urban thought leaders & researchers.
It intends to bring together international and national experts to share their work in making cities inclusive. The participants from India, US, Netherlands, London, UK, KSA, SA, Egypt & Austria will “walk the talk” for inclusive cities.
"Inclusive Cities" will Analyse the current scenario, where cities across the world are suffering from economic downturns, climate changes, population migration from war zone, water & energy shortages, problems for affordable housing, education, food security, access and safety to all and other conflicts around the world.
The need for Cities, is to be cognizant towards limited resources that need to be used creatively and wisely.
As researchers and professionals, we need to hear from professionals in India and around the world who have made a difference and moved towards an inclusive city that supports sustainable transport, conservation of resources, gender equality & most importantly, access to water while empowering the under-served.
